Egyptian prosecutors have detained Ola al-Qaradawi as they investigate a new case against her, one day after a court said she should be released, a source close to her family told Middle East Eye on Thursday.
The daughter of Qatar-based imam Yousef al-Qaradawi was granted conditional release by an Egyptian court on Wednesday after two years of imprisonment without formal charges, her family has said.
